Midnight Rhythms: An LGBTQIA+ Zine
Midnight Rhythms is a film by and for the LGBTQIA+ community and depicts the personal struggles of a queer person on their journey towards coming out and living proudly. This film focuses on conceptual visuals, audio, and music paired with spoken word poetry to bring together an artistic vision that speaks to the self-acceptance and coming-out journey that many LGBTQIA+ people experience.
As filmmakers, we are working to tell stories of queer love and resilience and to foster an open, accepting, and affirming community of queer and BIPOC artists within the Oregon film community. Additionally, we want this story to connect with the local and greater LGBTQIA+ community, speak to our common yet unique experiences, and open up a dialogue between ourselves as well as with our friends and families.
The Midnight Rhythms zine features background on the film, poetry excerpts from the script, cast & crew info, and amazing concept art and photos from our talented crew! All funds raised will directly fund production costs of the short film and help us bring our artistic vision to life!
